The House
Kyllachy House is a large comfortable Victorian sporting lodge built in 1886 for William MacKintosh, Lord Kyllachy, a distinguished judge.
It is set amongst lovely gardens and policies with pretty water features, wonderful mature trees and a hard tennis court.
Ground Floor
Vestibule, loo, fantastic hall with stained glass window and open fire; study/library with wood burning stove, tv, internet and wi-fi; magnificent drawing-room with wood burning stove and stunning southerly views over the garden and the River Findhorn; dining room which comfortably seats 18, again with lovely southerly views and traditional Norwegian wood burning stove; billiard room with open fire and large collection of animal heads, brand new kitchen, drying room and another loo.
The Kitchen has an Aga, two fridges,( one with
deep freeze) , two dishwashers, microwave, large larder and electric oven and Induction hob.
6 people can eat comfortably in the kitchen. There is also an additional chest freezer in the cellar.
There is a self contained annexe with double bedroom and bathroom ( suitable for disabled) and a staircase leading to 2 twin bedrooms, both with hand basins.
